I vote that we iron out all the actual performance related variables on the maps first. Get the auto tuning done so we can have both boost and timing running at the highest possible safe level.

The bells and whistles should only come after the actual performance stuff.

This is not the right thread to vote for the next Procede add-on feature...

Some questions on the new firmware

-I guess the new firmware will be compatible with new maps & beta maps as well?
-The procede will be able to read the hidden error codes too?

If I had a Rev II I'd be happy just to have a bell.

Getting autotuning to work well (and not just be a gimmick) requires a lot of testing. And before that is realistic, a few other things need to be in place first. Same goes for proper meth tuning which can only come after we implement the steering wheel switch since the port currently used for the remote control relay box will get tied in with the meth flow detection device.

Agreed but please continue to fine-tune the CANbus maps until they are as rock solid as the 2-19 (previous generation is maps)

Beta map development and firmware/feature updates happen in parallel so no worries about that.

Also beta maps, by definition, aren't always going to be as rock solid as nonbeta maps (2-19) right off the bat. Usually takes a month or so in the field to polish up.

1) I believe that the R&D is improved by 75% now that the tuners have the CANbus ability

2) I believe these CANbus maps have more room for performance and Shiv is still playing it conservative at first, unleashing the beast little by little

3) Not sure how much more we can get from these little snails after the current Maps are ironed out...

For map selection :

Use the audio source button and radio station / song selection buttons on the right of the steering wheel.

1) Hold down audio source button on steering wheel for 3 seconds
- short 2-4 character map code appears on dash, ex : "M1" is map 1.

2) Hit radio station up arrow or down arrow to cycle through maps

3) Hit the audio source button for another 3 seconds to select. Hit it for only an instant to exit map menu.

1- Hold down recirc button on steering wheel to enter map switching mode.

2- Press recirc button once for Map1, and two for Map 2. Service engine light will flash on dash to confirm map number selected.

I could be wrong though.

Hopefully you are right and i'm wrong cuz that would ROCK !
Why do you guys make everything so difficult?

It would behave just like the remote map switcher. You decide, in the software, what map # you want the PROcede to default to upon start-up. And then you double-click the button to cycle through maps. We'd probably add another map or two in there now that we offer in-dash map # confirmation. Having more than a couple of maps without some sort of visual confirmation would have been silly.
