Hi,

I have had the car for exactly one year and it is exactly 2 years old!

Shortly after I bought it last year I had the paintwork fully corrected and protected with Zymol Vintage wax. The car had a wax top up about 6 months ago.

Since then all I have done is this:

1. Pre cleaned the car using an autobrite faom attachment with super snow foam and Chemical Guys maxi suds. Leave this to dwell for about 5 mins and then power wash off.
2. Using the 2 bucket method with grit guards and a lambswool mit wash the car using Zymol shampoo.
3. Clean the wheels lightly with Bilberry non acid wheel cleaner using various brushes.
4. Towel the car dry.
5. Finish using Zymol Field Glaze/Zymol detailer.
6. I removed the wheels once to clean up the hubs (lightly rusted) and took the opportunity then to fully clean the wheels all over and then I waxed them with Collinite 915. I did that about 3 months ago and have since not had the wheels off. I do collonite the wheel faces every month and field glaze them as well.

Hope this helps.

Steve

Looks immaculate Steve, especially since it's two years old! Why don't you come show it off at UK5 ?? Thinking of coming along? Shouldn't be too far from you (depending obviously where you are in Wales..)

Looks great - I gave mine the once over with Megs stuff last June when I had her, but it is now 'wearing off' - A well waxed car defo is easier to clean! I am just awaiting a sat or sun to myself and will do similar!

Nice work, and as said before, with the plate on still looks brand new

My cars been Zymol'd!

Treated her to a full Zymol HD cleanse followed by Zymol Vintage wax and then finished with Zymol Field Glaze.

Wheels were clay barred to remove the stubborn brake dust spots, treated wuth Zymol wheel protectant, waxed with collonite wheel sealant and then finished with Zymol Field Glaze.

Blue certainly does look amazing when 'detailed' to such an extent. Terrific work.

I have actually just bought one of these: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...rush-wash.html

to get through to the backs of the wheels!

Looks superb (like it just rolled out of the paint shop), I only have the Ital glaze but love the smell of Zymol stuff. Clear smells of Lemon, HD cleanse smells of chocolate and the Ital like Bannana. Starving by the time I`ve finished.

Wow, I don't think I'd want to drive it if it was that clean just in case it got dirty

Did you do it yourself and how long did it take?

I am going to have to confess, most of the work was done by a pro detailer, Simon Belli of Prestige Detailing. His work is awsome.

He fully corrected the paintwork a year ago and yesterday the wax was topped back up without any need for additional correction.

I can recommend Simon, his work is simply stunning.

I will take credit for the wheels though, they were all my hard work!

ahhh you've ruined your cred now
The wheels still look good though

Even Viv's getting in on the cleaning up (thread's as well )

Is this Prestige Detailing based in Exeter?
