Brake not working

Hey guys, drove the car last night with no problems. Today I started the car no problem but when I pulled out of my driveway my brakes weren't working. The pedal is super stiff as when you press on the brake a couple of times when the car is shut. I was able to get to a stop but while pressing it super hard. Any help? My fluids are fine, pads are fine. Maybe something with the abs is wrong? Helppp thanks

you probably lost vacuum in your brake booster. If you dont have brakes, you most likely dont have boost either.

That's interesting because I did the same thing last night. After cleaning my air filter in the afternoon and replacing it after it was dry (but with new K&N oil on it) I decided to take it for a short test drive around the neighborhood. No brakes! I came right back slowly and carefully and looked under the hood and found that I had not attached the brake boost connection. All is good now.

Yes, I'm glad I had only gone like 10 or 20 MPH. I had to really press hard to get it to slow down to a stop. I even pulled on my parking brake to help out. Yikes! Won't do that again!
