Need advice JB3 with anything else?

I am new to the site as I just popped my cherry to BMW. I just bought a 08 335 XI auto(no Idrive or Navi). I love it. I have been bugging Terry with all my questions so I thought this way I could give him a break. I got the jb and I like it but of course want more. I am not racing nor actually drive that much but would like it for piece of mind. I am ordering the JB3 (not pnp). Should I get anything with that? Dual intake or something. I dont want to kill my car in the long run and like to preserve it but like I said just want piece of mind and let lose on the weekends. Hopefully keep my cars engine from blowing up. Any advice would be great!

A DCI is goes great with the JB3. I would highly recommend getting the PnP version. Its so much easier to install and remove.

If the mod bug really hits you can get an intercooler and downpipes for added performance and consistent power delivery! You can also run higher maps on the JB3 with the above supporting mods

great thanks. What is a FMIC? Also I dont know if its me never having a fast car but I did the reasearch on n54 turbo lag off the line. I dont having any noises but when i punch it seem to take a mili second to kick in. I have a AWD so is it because of that or should it roar as soon as I floor it?

Mike - Strictly talking about performance, are you better off going with the Single or Dual intake? Is the difference negligible?

Stick with JB3. You don't have to do anything else. Enjoy the car.

with the DCI's you will be able to hear the turbos spooling much more...I bought it for the sound alone

Makes no difference. Both have similar if not identical performance
