335i Exhaust conversion on my 325i pics and vids.
Hi guys over the weekend I bought a carbon 335i rear diffuser and had a custom stainless 335i style back box setup with 4'' slash cut tips. Iv got no drone what so ever just sounds more throaty when I put my foot down. I have a feeling I should of used 3 1/2 inch tips but what do you guys think?

Did you do this yourself?
I would be more than happy with a set up like that on my e90 330i but only people I can find are MIJ whose work looks great but is stainless twin box outlet set up. |

This would be perfect for what I want. Not too much noise, not having half the system chopped off and just great looks and simple.
You say a Universal rear muffler was used - I am uk based where did you get it from? Was it twin exit already and you added the extra length, bend and the tips? I have seen others on here mention MIJ but like most things bad reviews are only a click away and you never know who to believe. I cant weld but getting a local garage to do this would be my preferred choice if possible. Sorry for all the questions but I want mine done soon. Thanks in advance |

Because im a welder fabricator by trade, I just had a little help off a friend with a hydraulic pipe bender rather than doing it all with angled cuts, but you can get the exhaust done for £300 as I did have it quoted once in case I didn't ever have the time to dot it but luckily I did. |

Thanks guys and I'm afraid my unit is no longer next to my mate with the pipe bender so it would be a bit of a pain to do. But I have a friend that does exhausts and he is extremely good.
