I recommend also going through an online driving improvement course. This will help and a good lawyer will recommend it

Well i use Dickson Young or John Carroll, best attorneys money can buy in FFX county, but since it is just a speeding ticket, you can probably just make a deal to take driving class (idrivesafely.com) and get it dropped.. Unless it was like a 120mph in a 55 lol, in which case i would use one of said attorneys.

From my unlucky experience you are fine unless you are going to fairfax county general district court. Alexandria court and other courts are pretty understanding and fair. FFX County has greedy nazi's running them. Where did you get pulled over.

If your going to fairfax county you are screwed, they will ticket you, you might be able to get 1-4 mph shaved off of it due to the design of the laser detectors. What kind of weather was it, how far was the officer etc etc look up fighting a speeding ticket. Alexandria and other courts will let you take a clinic to get the ticket shaved off.

How much over were you?

btw... Do not speed over the posted by 10mph on I-81. 15 over will get you a couple nights in the Rockbridge County "Hilton" not to mention several other counties with the same reputations.

Some parts of I-64 are even worse.
