Interior is DONE: Oyster M-Sport Interior Trim
After many months of researching and compiling pieces, I've FINALLY finished off my interior. I don't normally post a ton, but I wanted to offer up some pics, as I found it VERY difficult to find any examples of modded M-Sport Oyster Leather E90 interiors. So, hopefully this thread helps future modders make their decision.
I originally wanted to go with a real carbon fiber trim set, but I just couldn't justify the cost. oCarbon has a very very good price for exceptional work, but I managed to find this trim for a fraction of the price. In the end, I'm very please with how it turned out. Though the trim could be called "mismatched", I think the blend of colors complements all of the materials and tones elsewhere in the interior. The cabin now feels a LOT sportier now that the wood trim is FINALLY gone. Trim chosen: OEM M3 Titanium trim OEM Brush Aluminum Center Console Trim OEM Performance Pedals (from 335is) Before: After:

That's beautiful; my favorite interior color and trim combo.
The titanium/aluminum sets off the oyster/black much better than the wood. Also, that interior has all my favorite options for an E90: oyster/black with silver trim, sport package, heated seats, titan accent headlight switch, nav, & 6MT. Well done. You should finish it off with the black speaker grilles that have the titan accents: PN 51418045695. They came on the E90 M3's and individually optioned E90's. At $40 each, it's worth it to complete the look. https://www.ecstuning.com/ES100555/ Last edited by terryd5150; 04-02-2016 at 11:19 AM.. |

Thanks! I absolutely love the car. It's been nearly 2 years, and I still can't believe it's mine.
I may look into those speaker accent. Thanks for the tip!

That looks damn good! I'm going to be working on an interior refresh myself and you've definitely given me some inspiration - as well as Socket with his two tone refresh.. you guys make it so easy to make the car look fantastic.

I have similar wood trim and thought it would always be my preference.
Until now. Nicely done.

Sure did. I like to DIY as much as I possibly can on my cars.

I have virtually identical interior. 6mt with oyster sport seats. Regular steering wheel as I have sport not m sport. Wanted to go with diamond Schwartz or piano black but expensive! Yours looks nice but I would want all of it to match

Excellent job! I have oyster with anthracite wood in my 535 and its a great color offset similar to what you've done. We are wrapping some interior bits this weekend on my son's e92 to get some more contrast with the brushed aluminum and light gray seats.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the kind words.
I normally would prefer to have everything match, but I really like the blend of colors and materials I chose...especially the brushed aluminum. I'm thrilled I was able to pull off this look for a fraction of the cost of carbon fiber or piano black.

I thought I was the only one that felt that way haha. Great looking interior man. It's crazy how much older your car looked with the wood trim, and now it looks like a brand new BMW. I always wanted the Wooden Trim in mine, but got the Brush Aluminum Trim, and ever since I have been on these forums, I've never really seen anyone switch from the Aluminum to the Wood, so I have started to appreciate my Aluminum Trim that much more.
