When I got my 328i a few weeks ago the finance guy offered me the extended maintenance program from 4/50 to 6/100 for $3200 (if I remember correctly)
I just found this TSB http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/B0...n+Upgrades.pdf that shows an MSRP of $985. I'm sure glad I declined it...

Did you guys get the extended plan? How much did you pay?

This is what I was quoted.

What the difference between Maintenance Program and Service Contract?
Service Contract = Warranty?
Either way that's much higher than what the TSB shows... I knew the stealers were making bucks on the extended warranty/service stuff but still...
