Stutter after BMS dci install

I installed the bms dci on my 335i a couple days ago and afterwards I got a check engine light and shaking from the engine. Not consistently but when it does it, it feels like a misfire. I checked everything and it seems to be about as tightened as it can be. The back filters hose is what concerns me as the intake cone isn't in there straight on. Anyone have some tips?

*EDIT* 1/10/12

So I started having another issue when I start the car. It will rev up to like 1,200rpms and then back down then up, down, up, down. If I rev it, it'll clear itself out (most of the time). I have an OBII code reader that I forgot about so I plugged that in and these were the resulting codes:

P0151 - o2 circuit low voltage bank 2, sensor 1
P2415 - o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1
P2197 - o2 sensor signal stuck lean bank 2 sensor 1
P0306 - cylinder 6 misfire detected
*P0174 - system too lean bank2
*P2629 - o2 sensor pumping current trim circuit/open bank 2 sensor 1
*P166F - No info given on this one
P2415 - O2

I cleared all the codes, drove around, plugged the reader back in and the ones with the * were the only ones that came back up. Possible issues?

Probably unrelated to dci. Need to have it scanned to know for sure.

how many miles on the car?
are you running a tune?
my guess would be plugs or coils.

did you push the cone in to far....the newer ones prevent this but on the earlier ones if push the filter in to much on the pipe it prevents air flow.

42k on the car. I bought it as a CPO at 33k and I assume everything was changed/checked. I'm not running a tune.

It really shouldn't be the filters but as another member mentioned make sure they are not in too far. It could be coincidental that you are getting more flow and are now misfiring.

Are your spark plugs original? That is likely the culprit 9/10 times.

They should be changed every 20-25, if you are tuned.

It may be behoove you to ensure the filters are on straight, if you can't access it correctly, you should remove the cowl, it's about 8-10 8mm bolts.

I get that more air flow could make it misfire but the shaking is not consistent. I didn't really notice an increase in the turbo sound either.

you can always go to an auto parts store too and ask them to use their code reader. If everything else already suggested doesn't work.

I might go stop by ltmw and just have someone look to see if it's installed right.

you should be due for plug's in about 3k miles since ur cpo let the dealer do it.

I found the issue once I took the cones back off..

I guess this is a braided vacuum line? I re-cut it and stuck it back on, re-installed the intakes and went for a drive. Noticed a stronger pull and the turbo spooling is more pronounced. Check engine light is still on but I'll give it a day or two to clear itself out.

Yep, that is a vaccum line. Glad you found it!

I believe the too lean code can be caused from a vacuum leak. I think it's set off by unmetered air.

So could the vacuum line that came off be a problem? It's re-attached now

Do you guys think it could be caused by a greater amount of air from the intake and the fuel isn't compensated?

I'm surprised the nipple wasn't broken on the intake manifold, that generally fails before the vacuum hose does.

The RPM raising and lowering sounds like the TB is getting stuck open or you have a large vacuum leak post sensor.

How can I check for this without taking it to bmw?
