Love the builder B J Champion. School must have been pleasant for him.....

Anyway, in a previous job there was a guy whose surname was Hunt was known to all and sundry as Isaac. He loved that one.

Spooky.......

My house was built by the aformentioned BJ

AND

I know "Isaac" very well - he was given this name around 1981 as I remember.

I still remember the story about the dinner table conversation with the whole family where mother is asking why he is nicknamed "Isaac"..

"Isaac..... Isaac..... Isaac Hunt, why do they call you that?"

with the rest of the family laughing uncontrollably.

There was a poor unfortunate sod in our school called Nigel Balls. He was so stupid he never understood why he was nicknamed Bingo and Squeezem.

What about the Peacock family in England that recently named their son Drew.

They did not notice until a pal told them and they had already registered the childs name.

Whilst waiting for our eldest child to be born, we were doing the the usual thing with boys and girls names.

We decided that if it was a girl it would be Karen Louise and if a boy it would be Ian Phillip.

Nothing wrong so far - until I was driving home from the hospital after our son was born and thought about his name from an initials point of view......

Our surname is Brown. He was subsequently christened Ian Mark.
