GL, hope you find a set soon. Did you try ebay?
Yeah man thanks.
I've been checking ebay once in awhile looking for a good deal like the last one i found before, a pair of xenon housings for 300 US. Good deal but i missed out on it. still looking around. I dont really need euros. I was thinking of using the NA spec xenons and putting HIDs.

HIDS on my halogen housing, not nice. The light is way to flooded.

Why are BMW owners always end up in Brokeville?

hey Excellence,
do you mind tell me what kind of HID kit you've installed in your 323i that can bypass the low beam error? I want to buy a set to start
thanks

I have ordered Euro Xenons, although shipping is going to take a while, they are coming from Germany. I got lucky, I snagged them off ebay for around $800 CAD shipped! I'm also talking with a member here about some OEM Fog housings.

I've done ALOT of reading, and consulted with a few other members. After I recieve these parts I should have one of the first 323i's with Euro Xenons, and fogs, with no errors, and no dealer programming: for only about $900 total . Don't worry, a detailed DIY will follow

Excellence, so did you install aftermarket HID kit before?
How was it?

Does it really look that bad from outside?

I agree wit you. No point in getting HID if you don't get the distinitive angel eyes.
I drive a 323 and I'm just gonna settle for the Noyka halogen bulbs. $30 or less and you get the white color light.

hey guys,

The more I look at the 323i halogen light housing from the side (not from the front), the more I like it, and somehow it grew on me.
Of course it’s not as nice looking as the xenon with the angel eyes... but halogen has its own characteristic, not too bad looking after all, I can live with it.
At least better some other Japanese cars.
If you change to white color bulbs, I think it’s still acceptable.

Anyone agree with me?

I agree that the halogen housings look sharp, but damnit, a BMW was MEANT to have AngelEyes/Xenons. When I was buying the car, I wasn't paying too much attention to the headlights because I was under the impression that ALL BMW's come with Xenons stock. Actually, when the Salesman tried to upsell me to the 328i, I think that is the one feature he may have overlooked (would have probably worked too, to get me up to the 328).

Anyways, back to the retrofit. I'm thinking of taking this up a notch. I remember back when my Impala was in an accident (when the '00's first came out) that I had to replace the plug on the harness and I actually was able to buy it from a local supplier. I'm going to see if I can buy a Socket and Plug, so I can basically create an extension for the stock harness where all the wiring modification will occur. What will this mean? No cutting wires Let's just hope I can find these.

How about this?

I've installed PIAA 6500K Xenon bulbs (ya, sure. xenon...),
and although it's better than stock halogen bulbs, I need more fields of vision at night.

I don't care about angel eyes. I just need more visibility.

Genuine M-tech HID's will bypass the low beam error.
Just go for regular bulbs, you'll be just as happy.
