Cheers,

Justin.

Sweet, let me know ASAP. I'm in.

The 550 GB was prior to the 600's becoming official. But now that Wayne has pushed the production schedule forward the GB will now be for the RR600 turbochargers.

I will be also be something for the Stage 2+ turbo that will be released in limited quantity soon, but the Stage 2+ will be a definite step above the 600's in potential power level and will be priced accordingly as such.

I thought that'd be about right considering turbos are bigger (cooler charge air and lower back pressure), a fair bit more timing up top possible due to that cooler charge air and lower back pressure, upgraded inlets, dyno tested VANOS tweaks to get the very most power out of the setup. I'd expect around 50kw more power than same boost on stock turbos and inlets so whatever that is.

How do we get in on the group buy for the RR600's if we're not on FB?

Hey mate,

I'll need to crunch the numbers again on the 600's versus the 550's.

Yes, you need to return your OEM turbos to Advan performance once the 600's are installed, I will however cover the $500 USD core charge so that will allow you to keep $700+ AUD in your back pocket. I also handle the return shipping back to Hexon to recover the core charge I pay upon time of ordering, so that is something else you need not worry about. All the turbos I ship out will also come with a complete OEM turbo install kit that is necessary for a proper R&R of the turbos.

I suspect if you contact Hexon directly Wayne will refer you to me anyway as I have been working with him closely to setup a distributorship within Aus.

However feel free to do the math and don't forget to factor in the International shipping costs from Aus to Taiwan to claim your $500 USD core refund.

Cheers,

Justin.

Better to deal with jd75 directly too for the ease of aussie support etc.

Thanks Justin, crunch the numbers for me & let us all know as soon as you can. If i was to purchase from Wayne i would just pay the core charge and then just sell my turbo's locally rather than posting back to Taiwan.

Previous generation RB's use a standard MHI 12 blade TD04L spec wheel, I'll confirm with Wayne if their turbine is comparable in size.

However the exducer and inducer numbers do not tell the whole story, the turbine blade number and blade aero also affects the turbochargers spool and top-end flow characteristics.

The labour component is $1,500 inc.GST which is pretty darn good as many reputable workshops charge $2K+ for the R&R of turbochargers plus consumables.
