Another Z FTW!!!!
They are rare as unicorns (especially the clean ones out there).
I know a bloke who threw in an RB26DETT in one a couple of years back....
If you complete the project post it up Cashy...
Oh and I'd probably be in the hunt for the RS7 too in 2020...

Garage List
2008 BMW 135i  [8.66]
Wow my list is short. I tend to keep my cars for a while. JDM and Euro here.

1. 1989 Nissan 300ZX TT
2. 2002 Nissan 200SX Spec S GT
3. 2008 BMW 135i

Almost bought along the way:
Mitsubishi Evo 9 (the turning circle is horrible for a road car)
Nissan R34 GT-R (prices never dropped enough for a clean example)
BMW E46 M3 (decided I liked the torque of the N54 more)
Porsche 944 Turbo (I have a big soft spot for these cars)
VW Golf R Mk6 (practical pocket rocket)

If I could add a Porsche to the stable at some future point I'd be a very content man.

I haven't been on there for a year. I was MackTheKnife on there.

The EC5W was awesome and was a little quicker on the main straight of Eastern Creek than my mates Lotus Exige. It was alot slower on the corners though since it had comfort spec HKS Coilovers on it.

I'd have loved to get another one, but I decided on the 335i instead.

Jeez socket those old alfa's would have kept you busy with repairs, no wonder you spend so much $ on the 335i you've probably always had a large car maintenance financial savings scheme?

Looks like you've had some real turds, albeit you've definately turned a corner haha

Oh yeh those alfas haha specially the GTV with the gearbox in the diff (crazy Italians). Definitely come to my senses with the move to German cars lol. Although the 335 is the first car I've ever modded so I have no idea what I'm doing

I've been driving for 19 years and havent had that many cars really. Im more of a keep em and mod em kinda guy!

1. 1996 suzuki swift GTI (bought brand new as my 1st car and was the hot hatch back in the 90's!

2. 1995 Honda Accord VTIS (had a heap of gay mods, big stez, 17" chromies and was laid out on air, cf interior pieces all hot shit 15 years ago haha)

3: 2001 Lexus IS300 with the 2JZ (had lots of bling mods c west bodykit, advan rims, heaps of TRD sussy mods, $15K stereo)

[img][/img]

4: 2009 VW Jetta TDI (in betweener car - great economy and spacious DSG sucked!)

5: 2006 BMW 335i

6: Decided to buy the biggest turd of them all, a $1500 pub car with 6 months rego for leaving parked anywhere. A 1999 Mitsubishi Verada. It had 320k kays used no oil, had no oil leaks, was good on fuel but had a very tired tranny, and suspension. The paint was in great shape spent a weekend polishing the turd sold it with a few weeks rego for $1500 6 months later (I put new tyres on it which cost me $150!) Never before had I lost so little in a car haha

7: Sold the verada as it was a POS, and bought a turd of the same variety albeit a wagon as I had a heap of renos in mind. This one was owned by a one owner old bloke in Sydney it needed some work (timing belt, battery tyres, plugs, brakes, shocks) but the body and interior were in great nick..

Served me well this old gal, I lost $4k on it when I sold it but she served me well as a workhorse/pub car/daily driver

8: Bought a VW Passat (for the missus) its been a great car so far the TDI is amazing on the highway!

9: I inherited the wife's Corolla as a daily driver as she drives the passat now...

Nice write up there DRJ. I'm surprised you didn't drop a massive single turbo onto turd 1 just so you could smoke the tyres on the way to shopping lol
