My M3 side skirts showed up today

But there was a delay with the tyre warehouse so I doubt I'll be showing off the Forgestars this sunday

Fitment is about 95% mate. Was an interesting install, took me about 4hrs. Car is begging for the more aggressive wheels and perhaps a drop now. I'm keen to check out these springs of yours too. Do you bottom out on carpark ramps, for example toowong shopping centre could be a b*tch? These sideskirts are fibreglass moulds, so one bump and they are toast...

I also broke 2 clips that hold the door sill trim on, so am hoping the dealership has these. I presume they would for the bodyshops as they are tough to get out without damaging them.

Not too many probs so far... I just take it easy going down ramps etc. It might get interesting with an aero lip on the front though. Are the skirts much lower than the std ones?

And I think the dealer will definately have the clips. I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Yeah, I had the springs fitted last week. The ride seems fine. After just changing the springs themselves and nothing else, the ride felt pretty much exactly as it did before.. the car just sat lower.. After instaling 19" wheels and low profile tyres however, things seemed a bit harsher. The tyres I'm using aren't the best though.. salvaged from my old E46 along with the wheels.

How good is the fit i thought the m3 side skirts would not fit don't they flare out more at the back wheel arch as the m3 has more flared wheel arches
I'll check it out on sunday good luck.

Excellent photos for the day had a blast around those corners except those crazy bike riders overtaking other bikes on blind corners in the opposite direction just missed by a hairs breath twice.
Lucky i got no stones chips that day.

We should go up the coast hiterland or down the coast for our next one only a bit longer.
