Greetings fr Melbourne!

Just bought a Crimson Red 2007 335i and will get the car next week. Cant wait for the car and has lots of plans as long as budget permits.

Main thing now is to lower the car, get a tint and change the wheels.

Kindly advice professional & CLEAN workshops in Melbourne that I can rely on to do all the work! Hope to see some of you on the road!

If you are in Melbourne definitely go to SouthernBM.

Go get Alpine HID or Lux for white angel eyes - those two are the most popular ones without needing to spend ridiculous amount (Bavarian LS1). I don't think they sell them locally though...

Get some coilover to lower you car, you won't regreat it let the mod bug bite you haha..

Guess have to order from the US then. Haha...

Yeah you sure are right abt the mod bug. Used to have an Evo 9 pretty much modded till I it aint really comfortable (noisy/harsh) for daily driving around Melbourne's horrific traffic. So don't really wanna go down that path again. However saying that, i was considering the KW coilovers (bit pricy though) since I heard they are really comfy. Any other suggestions?

Welcome mate, be sure to post a pic of your car and then we can suggest various ways to part with your money.

Nothing wrong with ordering from the US especially with our dollar

There are other options but since I only have experienced with the KW there I would let other do the suggesting but yes the KW are very comfy

True true...our dollar is weakening though. Better buy them before it falls further.

Plus 1 for Jason from euro, he sorted me out for some rims, cheers. I don't know but all 335's came with msport and in that case unless you're gone track the car I don't see much point with coilovers to be honest. IMHO best bang for buck has gotta be a jb4 FTW.

Then proper wheels as those rft's won't hold much traction with the jb4.

Then of course more power! So you can eat some m3's :-P

Might pop over on Sat then Jason. So have other stuff or just GTC ones? How about tires? If I am running 9.5 or 10 wheels...I might need to get rid of the run-flats?

Hi from the northern Hmisphere! try these guys for your lights, not quite as far as the US and a good selection of kit, looking forward to meeting you in the RWC finals. Kev

Mine doesn't come with M-sport. Think of getting the M-tech lip or some kinda lip at the front cos i think the current one looks rather bland.

Track days are gone and I prefer just spirited driving when the mood comes. I baby my car too much and my heart aches after each track day with my old Evo. But I need a nice stance though. Thought of using KW V1. Can H&R springs do the job?

And yeah for sure I need a flash tune, exhaust & intake for a start. I got alot to learn too. Seeing there are so many flashes for the car, I wanna do it once & do it right. Cost will pile up so I better start to prioritize.

We have quite a few stuff that you may be interested in. Just to name some:

1) Aero lip for your Stock bumper
2) Full M3 Kit (Front bumper, Side skirts, Rear bumper)
3) Wheels
4) D1S 6000K Bulbs

Yes you would need normal tires to run our wheels. Saturdays are possible based on appointments.

Nice Mineral White you got there! Would loved to have a white one but just cant find a good one around. Mine doesn't have the M-sport suspension I think. Would it still be the same ride height as yours if I got those springs?

What's D1S 6000k bulbs? Are these for my xenon lights or the white angel eyes? Hmm...in that case I might pop over on thurs then. Got a number I can contact for mobile or address?

I don't think it matters if you have the m sport pack or not for suspension as all 335s come with the lowered suspension (assuming they did in 2007 also), or unless the original owner deleted that option when the car was ordered(why would you). On a 335, the m sport pack is just a sportier body kit, different wheel options, smaller diameter steering wheel and some other cosmetic things (like the blacked out trim around the windows and grill, which you already said you are having sprayed.

So, if you change your wheels over to some sweet 19s, you might find you wont need to lower your car.

You got to lower it - it will look better without the horrible gap
