Horrifying Picture
Saw this at the dealership today. Absolutely horrifying!!
I thought this type of carwash is obsolete but was I ever wrong!

That suck! I hate those car wash machine. I will never ever go to those. Hand Wash Only. At out dealer, they do hand wash only. But, I still dont trust them. One wash and dry towel, for all day long and all cars.

I think I've seen similar setup at a local MB dealership as well.
What you can do is ask the SA not to wash your car...

the licence plate frame on the picture says MARANELLO BMW. Is that where the picture was taken? that would mean my car went trough TORTURE before I picked it up?

I have only had my car in once to the dealer so far. When I dropped it off, I asked them not to wash it.
"Don't wash it?" They asked? "No - Please don't" I said. Then a puzzled look from the SA... "Don't wash it?" he asked again... "No - Please don't" I said.... again... finally, I got a "Okay". But I still did not feel good about leaving it at that.... Just to be sure I also asked for a post-it, wrote "Do not wash" and I put it on the steering wheel. When I came to pick it up, it was not washed, and it still looked better then other cars that were washed. DO NOt rely on their notes...... be proactive, and make sure they not to wash it. I did ask for a vacuum though... |

The hand car wash on 4th ave in Kits (Vancouver) used to do an amazing job. Took my car in there last weekend and it's really gone downhill. Anyone recommend a good place in Vancouver?
