New World Record in Failure!!

Congratulations go to my 2011 335xi E92 for having its water pump fail at 30k miles. I'm bringing this POS in on Friday for another issues and now I can chalk up a failing water pump to that list.
Symptoms: Radiator fan started running like a Messerschmitt on take off. I got my scanner and laptop and tested to find 2 error codes. I turned the car on and off a few times and the fan stop running but codes are still there.
Error code: 377A "coolant pump, shutdown: Pump blocked.
Error code: 3876; Couldn't find info on it but I think it means "Bring your own lube for the the raping I will give your wallet on Friday. And no need for tissues I want to taste your sweet tears of despair".

This better be covered under warranty!! I just dropped a pretty penny on my girls engagement ring so I'm not going to stand for any BS this week.

You've got warranty, why are you worried?

Whelp that blows. I'm having coolant issues of my own. The low warning light lit up a few days ago and it was off by a few milliliters. But ever since I got the car it tends to evaporate from the grill somewhere. I think I have a leak somewhere and its not coming from the cap on the reservoir. Im stumped because I only see the vapor escaping from the right grill after I drove the car once it warmed up. And I have no puddles under the car overnight or anything.

Ah I see you're Polish too looks like the Germans are trying to fuck us yet again, this time in our wallets. My warranty runs out in March I think so at least thank god it happened now. Btw do any of you guys know if the CPO warranty covers water pumps too?

Jesus man calm down! It's a piece of machinery and things break, it's not like you have been told you have cancer. It's a common part to fail on these cars, i would hardly freak out and call this " NEW WORLD RECORD IN FALURE"

I can understand at 60 or 80k but 30, come on thats just some shitty engineering. My old 07 328 had 94k miles when I traded it in and still showed no water pump issues.

I'm sorry but that means nothing, like comparing apples to oranges. Just be thankful its not a crank, transmission or rear diff! I know in Canada water pumps are covered under the CPO warrenty.

The problem is with how expensive these cars are, they shouldn't break down like they do...... And then like all stealerships they try to make money on our misfortune with these "pristinely engineered" pieces of machinery.....

I myself, as a fellow Polak, also just had my water pump fail two weeks ago. Brought it into dealer and had it replaced under warranty - no questions asked. Should also add that I left my downpipe and JB4 in. They saw it, mentioned that I had it, but didn't give me any shit about it. BMW of Bridgeport is awesome!

Why buy expensive car if you are not prepared to pay expensive fixes? Quit being a polak and buy a Honda. Expensive ring will not help your marriage last any longer. Study shows, the more humble the wedding the more marriage lasts.

My car too . I dont have any puddles or visible leaks but when it rains, there is condensation out of that right grill.

The amount of doom and gloom in here is ridiculous. I fully expect shit to fail on my car and I'm fully prepared for it too. If you weren't prepared for it coming from a 328 to a 335, that's your own fault.

You want a car you don't have to worry about breaking down on you, go get a Toyota. ALL European car's have their quirks and flaws. It's just a matter of what you're willing to deal with. I'd much rather deal with the small issues my 335 will have during it's life time (which apparently has the "worst" motor for reliability) than some POS Audi S4 that will nickel and dime me every chance it can.

Such a stupid mentality to keep. Apparently you got money to burn that us others who think logically and care about wasting money dont have. Keep your idiocy to yourself. I personally have no time for that. You pay $55k for a car that isn't a lambo or ferrari or bentley or porsche or some high end merc or even some m class bimmer should not warrant being able to spend some stupid pricetag on fixes that shouldn't happen. I can surely go buy a honda and not have to worry about any stupid fixes, including a god dam water pump. The worst thing I would have to deal with is "VTEC BRAH" from other people who decide to poke fun at me because I drive a "Honduh".

I dont understand this god dam mentality with people who buy bimmers, mercs, acuras lexus and etc..... Always when someone comes in and complains about some repair that shouldnt happen they start going at the idea that you shouldnt have the car if you can't afford the repairs. Yea obviously when it comes to accidents and those sort of repairs not on simple stuff that other car manufactures have no issues with. Get off your high horse ass. I guarantee some of you don't even do your own repairs outside of warranty on your own cars. Now hush and let people complaing and rightfully so.
