I am confused, what does this hood fit? You said its for a 2007/2008 coupe, but then you said it didn't fit your 335. Can you clarify, you are selling this hood to fit what?

M3 only, does not fit 335. Bumper/ Fenders on M3 are about an inch longer then 335 so it overlaps.

Hey, I got the trunk mount kit from burger tuning and my intake is in the way of suggested mounting... Would I be better off just putting pump in trunk as well? As well, would you recommend better lines then the ones they give you with the kit or should they be ok? Thanks!

What lines, the 1/4" meth line? As long as it's plastic, it should be OK.

The pump can be in the trunk or up front, should not matter. We have done some 335s with it up front, and we typically mount it in the trunk for the boosted E46s and E36s we have built.

If it's the SUPER thin(think a plastic straw thickness) plastic line, let me know. I have some very nice nylon 1/4" OD line laying around the shop, I'm sure I could spare some for you.

The reason I bring this up is because there is a potential to kink with the very thin schedule line. Other than that, you should be fine!

Did some research and they look to be fine, kit from Cooling Mist/BMS. Going to start install today, finally, but one more question. I hear a lot on the forums about purchasing Meth so what do you recommend as far as the stuff you can get from Home Depot or getting it from a shop? Thanks, very new to this and don't want to F-up the ride!

You absolutely want to run a better brand of methanol. . .like a VP M1 or similar. There are a number of places in Orlando that sell it by the 5 gallon container.

Alternatively, if you want to buy a pre-mixed solution, you can look for Snow's Boost Juice.

I'm not sure what exactly came in the kit as far as protecting the meth line and wires that run from the trunk to the engine, but do yourself a favor and make a quick run to Skycraft off of Fairbanks and buy some of the Varglass High temperature sleeving. You can put the meth lines and wires inside this and it will add a layer of physical protection and thermal protection.

It sounds like you are contemplating on whether to place the pump in teh trunk or in the engine bay, so last suggestion:

You are better off having the pump gravity fed by the tank, if possible. This keeps priming/air bubble issues down to a minimum. Personally, I'd want the pump closer to the tank than the other side of the car.

Also, by moving the pump to the trunk and under the tank, you will reduce/eliminate the possibility of cavitation, which is bad. This occurs when the fluid pressure drops below the vapor pressure. By keeping the pump close and below the source you will increase the NPSHA (net positive suction head available) which is what you want to keep cavitation from occuring.

What he said, you cannot depend on the pump priming itself if the meth does not gravity flow into the pump. The closer you place the pump to the tank, the better.

Thanks for the advice, everything makes more sense now! I did go ahead with the install in the trunk, everything seems to look like it will work ok... That's what I figured about the meth itself, buying stuff from Home Depot didn't seem like a good idea!!! Probably catch you at the track soon, new clutch first though! Thanks again!
