BrenTuning
Anyone had any experience with these guys? They look pretty good from what I have researched so far. It sounds like I can get a tune that will add 21hp/26tq with 93 octane - tune only. No bolt on.
Any experiences? |

They do alot of the 335 folks in boston area (also alot of suby).
Their NA tune is most likely AA tune or eurocharge.

The tune is his own, and best gains I've seen around so far, according to the numbers he told me. This is what he said in his email: "We have flash tunes we have created for your motor, they make 18-20whp on 93 octane" |

I think the tq is around 26 (to the wheels). He said to add 15% for crank numbers. He also said that he didn't notice a big difference between the 3 stage IM and tune vs. the tune only. He said that the pulls through the rpm band are much smoother with the tune only. |

I'm going to get the 93 tune. Closest 93 is around 30 miles to me, but I drive down there once a week to fill up
I wonder if I can use 91 after a 93 tune, though. Not regularly but let's say I'm traveling and I can't find 93 |

Ooh, sounds interesting. If I can get the tool with the flash I can do a dyno tune when the time comes.

The nice thing is that when you buy Bren's tool it included maps for both 100 and 93 (or 91 depending on what you tell them). You can use the 93 map most of the time, but if you want to use race fuel, switch the map to 100 octane.
