Wow i'd love to give Santa Pod a go in my 335i auto but i'm a bit nervous - i've seen some cars pitch sideways and smash into the barriers on YouTube, is there enough traction off the line at the track for a 335i? Don't wanna stuff it! As you can tell i've never done anything like this before...

I was wheel spinning 1st, 2nd and into 3rd on my first run sunday, did twitch alot but it wont be that bad when we go as the track will have plenty o' rubbah down.

Right Looked at two hotels so far, one in cambridge which is posher and one holiday in outside cambs..

13 pound price difference. Considering were going into town then the closer one prob is best.

i will keep looking though. Safe parking is of paramount importance.

Just turn up on the day, 10 pound entry per person and 25 pounds sign-on fee for unlimited runs.

It's likely that I'll only be there for one of the days, maybe lucky with the Mrs and get the overnight stay in too. No way I'll get away with doing both sat & sun.

Do you need a deadline? Depends on what car I've got, doubt I'll still have 5 series.

Will come if I get an E30 or 944 otherwise I doubt it!
