Anyone else find this annoying??

head light washers!!!!!!!!

I find them more a hindrance than anything else when i want my windscreen wiped if there is a thin layer of dust, i use my washers and it sprays all over my hood too!!

What's the best way to disable this free 'car washing service'?? I would rather the washer spray into my radiator!!

If you have your lights off then they headlight washer doesn't come on. Obviously not so good for night time..

Don't understand the practicality of having them in our cars. The only time I see headlight washers being useful if you're off-roading or driving on non-asphalt roads. Obviously not something we would take our cars on unless out of necessity (read: extreme circumstances)

Aparently there is an ADR that cars with xenons must have headlight washers. Thats what my dealer's master tech informed me of anyway.

OP, yes it shit me too.
You can pull the fuse. I don't know what effect that has on the rest of the system or the car. I just got mine coded to disable them.

Yep, aus spec cars need washers with the xenons as well as self-levelling system. If you check out US cars they don't all have washers.
