VRSF FMIC install issues on 2011 BMW 335is

Was installing my VRSF FMIC today when I ran into an issue connecting IC to boost pipes.

First on passenger side am I supposed to to remove the OEM pipe and use the provided tube by VRSF. If so how do you remove it the clamp holding it on looks like it's unremovable..

Second, for drivers side the boost pipe connecting CP to IC is one piece, looks like the only way to use VRSF provided tube I'd have to actually cut this pipe, which I do not want to do..

First pic is reference from passenger side
Second pic is drivers side

Use a dremel tool to cut the band on the passenger side. The drivers side needs the j pipe that vrsf charges $45 extra for. You remove the whole lower charge pipe, and connect the j pipe to the upper charge pipe that goes to the throttle body

$45 more, that's a bunch of crap why isn't it included if they know I need it?

If I remember correctly, when you order it, there's an option for 2009+ that require the extra pipe. 2007-early 2009 build dates don't require the pipe

Yea, found out I did order it (looked at my invoice) but wasn't sent to me, trying to resolve this now

As far as passenger side, is there a simple way of removing that "one time" clamp?

Dremel with small cutting wheel.
Just go slow, you want to avoid hitting the pipe of course.

Passenger side can be removed by using flat head screwdriver and popping clamp no need to mess with cutting it off.

I cut mine with a dremel but you can easily pop it loose with a flathead screw driver as mentioned above.

You need the lower charge pipe, it's an option when purchasing the intercooler and it's clearly listed
