That steering wheel could be in the M4 GTS? Or i8s?
It looks like it came straight from a Formula 1 car! 😊

Agree. The M2 and M4 GTS are (or will be) production cars.
Nothing conceptual about them at all. Not even a big-ass GTS wing.

M4 GTS is just a variant of the M4. Thinking more new models, M2 or something like the CSL Hommage. 500 bhp i8S would be cool tho.

God forbid they show the Z5 or whatever the hell they've been dragging their feet on with Toyota for years now.

How would they be any less of a concept car than any of the concept cars that BMW rolled out before they entered production? E92 M3 in 2007 was billed as a Concept car, F82 M4 in 2013 was billed as a Concept car (at this very same event, no less), etc.

If it has an "M" I'll be excited. If it has an "I" I'll vomit. If it's an M and an I.then I'll be excited while I vomit

Good point. BMW's definition of "concept car" is something like "marketing teaser."
I saw that M4 "concept car" but I thought it was just an early production model off the assembly line.

The CSL homage would have been looked so much better in the BMW CSL Racing Livery. One in Black and one in white.

R&D is long over. There are a bunch of pre-production cars already running around with the finalized power output, standard equipment and options.

If it's new concepts/models, I could see the X7 and the i5, although the i5 is still a long way out from concept. Last I heard the i8S was canceled. They'll probably officially reveal the M2 however. I guess time will tell

BMWi needs to go back to the drawing board and design something with a lower cost to compete.

$35K USD is the new EV price threshold before tax incentives, like it or not.

So if the M1 hommage was already revealed then the F1 like steering wheel has to be for the modern M1 or M10 unless it be revealed to bigger crowds since we weren't told the engine or specs

So does this PSL button mean power slide or pit stop limiter? Is this the KERS boost button? It is more likely this will be the i S version to incorporate electric tech so I wonder if it will be a V10 with electric turbos

Still hoping it's the 100
Anniversary M superscar or R8 competitor

Well the i5 will be meant more as an alternative to the Tesla, so not a less expensive car there. How's the threshold for tax incentives price limited? I haven't done research in a while, but the last time I checked the tax credits are based off the battery capacity, not the price of the car. The i3 has great tax credits making the price of the car not as bad in the grand scheme of things.
