I Hope So.....:)
I hope so too....on the update site from BMWFS it still shows at en route so she's still on the water....I figure 5-7 days to my dealer from when it arrives at port has been my experience with all my cars-since I'm on the east coast it doesn't take long.

The ride height on that seems reallly, really high for a sport package. Does it still have shipping blocks on it? (or whatever they're called) If that's the standard ride height(picture 3), I'd be shocked cause the wheel gap is out of control.

brohr01 - If you have the time, how about posting a 335i review here? You must have really good connections to get one so quick! Good going...I'm sure everyone here is dying to hear someones 1st hand experience with the new coupes!

Obviously brohr01 got his dealer to let him purchase one of the initial units that BMW sends out as 'preliminary'
(built prior to August, right before factories go on vacation). BMW usually sends out a handful of these only to certain dealerships prior to starting up full production, just so people can see them in the showroom (they did this with the E46 Coupe). The dealer most likely let him spec the car out the way he wanted it before it was finished being built. Usually, discounts on those are slim to none, UNLESS you are really tight with your dealership. |

Obviously you havent seen my other post in the pics forum, it was all explained there. This car is indeed a preproduction car, although it isnt ever going to a dealership. I goto school with BMW and we took delivery of this car a few weeks ago. Before that the car was at the BMW test track on the east cost getting put though its paces. I am not the owner of this car, BMWNA owns this car and they will be the only owner of this car. Once they are done training with this car is will be sent to the crusher and destroyed. Pre-production cars are NEVER sold to anyone, most of the wiring and technical aspects of the car are very different from a production car. |

Below MSRP on the new coupes?
Hi all,
I'm new to the forums and have found them very helpful over the past week to research into the new 07 coupes. I'm planning to buy a 328i when they're available in September (my first BMW - can't wait ) I wanted to know if anyone's been able to "deal" on the MSRP prices for the coupes? (If you don't mind sharing that info). The dealer I've been speaking with for my purchase said that there's no flexibility on the price. I expected as much though given that it's a new model and will probably be incredibly popular. If anyone's been able to negotiate, and wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to know. I can't seem to mentally get over the idea of not negotiating on a car price Thanks. |

Yes the NAVI has RTTI
I am aware of the release stating the delay due to RTTI.....I have been told mine was built with NAVI AND RTTI....the easy way to tell is the $100 charge....NAVI alone is $2000.....w/ RTTI they bumped it up $100(to cover 4 years of service).....and after 4 years we have to pay for it....But my car does have the Navigation w/ RTTI.
