Real question is why are you still running the G4 board? T doesn't even offer updates for the G4 board anymore because G5 ISO is the new best thing. Being able to bypass the DME and allow boost to be controlled directly from the board makes your car faster with the proper mods and you seem to have them so I'd suggest making the jump.

The G4 board for a tune only car is still a very good option, but if you are FBO and meth, E85, etc. the G5 ISO gives you a lot more flexibility. The G4 firmware is very mature as it has had about 2 years of development so there is not much more to change on it, which is why firmware updates have slowed down.

No trying to sell anything but in ISO mode even with just a tune + FMIC especially for a 335is it is noticeably stronger & smoother. On the logs the two boost lines are almost a perfect overlay.

So is the boost control significantly smoother for an otherwise stock car? I am still debating whether or not to get the G5 board. My car is otherwise stock and I'll probably get a DCI shortly. Won't get into too many mods until I am outside warranty.
