Love when people spend thousands on a car but are too cheap to spend the $45 to find a potentially major issue with a car.

Its clean with no accidents and one owner. Went to auction 3 months ago. Strange that it was a lease and wasn't even used for a year though.

Carfax is quite the joke though....please use good ole fashion knowledge over this "system"

Many cars show a bad carfax due to being towed from a breakdown and many cars dont show a bad carfax and have had extensive structural repairs. It is not foolproof, trust me

Definitely not foolproof, just another tool to use when buying a car. It can also save you a potential headache when selling your car down the road, if it has a "bad" carfax or 4 owners in a couple of years you know something is up. As far as accident damage or paintwork nothing beats knowing what you're looking at, but I'm sure you know being in the business.

I personally think carfax is a bunch of bs...my first acura tl had been in a major accident prior to my ownership and it wasnt listed on carfax and then i had an accident or two and went through insurance and those still didnt get listed so idk how they choose what gets posted or what doesnt.
