Question Intake Manifold Temps.

Ran some logs on the Cobb today and it looks like the car is still learning (only been 50 miles). My questions is my intake temps seems to jump pretty high towards redline (80+ degrees). What are some of the other n55ers logging on stock IC's? no meth obv......

Just looking at my one log... Stage 2, started at 40F and a 3 full gear pull and a full 4th gear pull ... Ending in only 8F increase.

I have a 2-3-4 gears pull started at 50F ending at 71F

hmmmmm. maybe its because of when and how i started the logging? I took it around town and then hopped on the freeway to take the logs. The car was definitely warmed up. when i started logging, intake temps were around 60 degrees. ambient temp was around 55 today. am i running hot?

Oh sorry I didn't read your stock ic requirement... I have the direct fit ETS 5" ic and catless dp. Both helps to keep it cooler. Yours are normal and kind of shows how easily they heat up on a stock car.

It's time for a FMIC, my IATs actually drop durring a hard pull, stay maybe 15F over the ambient. This was with cobb s1 Aggressive +, and boost went over 16 psi during the pull.

ok so it looks like with the IC upgrade there are significant IAT decreases but the Cobb tune shows only a small increase in actual HP output even when updating to stg 1+ or stg 2? I have my AR DP sitting in the closet but am thinking about selling it as I'm not interested in swapping it every year for inspection. thoughts? updated IC is a given at this point bit why does the tune seem so conservative? josh?

My Chrome DP is on the kitchen table as a center piece, my married friends get a kick out of that and so would my ex wife. Anyway I'm hoping cobb s2+ adds some peak horsepower for the N55 like it did on the N54.
