I'm also going there for the vinyl, but I didn't plan anything for sat because of the meet so I'm down for whatever time, but not late afternoon...
I think if we can get there b/w 12-1 should be good.

Edit: ah late again... I don't have 2-way radio.
10:30 sounds good though, I'll be there.

What do you guys think?

Remember, bring your 2 way radios. There are a couple of lights on Tonnelle Ave. and I don't want anybody to get left behind.
Bimmer do you live close to north bergen? cause you seem familiar with the area.
Anyways no worries about the lights on tonnelle, from the DD we can cut through target and hit westside ave no lights straight shot to turnpike.

Time works fine for me but i will DEFINITELY need some coffee in that case.

Attention to those coming to this meet:

If you want the "golf tee mod" done to your 335's let me know. Ill bring extra BB's so I can do the mods.

Debating on bringing some extra parts too if people want the rear fog light mod done as well.

not to be off topic, but is there a reason why some of you are using BB's instead of just disconnecting the plug for the selonoid behind the driver side taillight? Just curious cause i have had the plug disconnected for months and never had any problems. If it is bad, i might be needing one of those BB's too

I was thinking the same thing.. Only reason i could think of for doing it the golf tee method is to avoid throwing codes, but i wonder if the golf tee method would throw codes also

If you disconnect the solenoid from the inside, you get stored error codes. This is because youre breaking the actual electrical connection to the cars ECU. There are no codes if you use the BB because its in the vacuum part and youre just tricking the line to stay open all the time. The computer still sees it as working normal.

Is there a big difference in sound when you do the mod? I just found a thread with sound samples but I can't download it here at work. Does it do anything else besides changing the exhaust note? I've never looked into it so don't look at me like that

Haha, yes, Im looking at you like that. Just wait till Saturday. Youll hear the difference immediately upon startup. If you dont like it, its reversible in 2 seconds. If you do like it, you keep it. Ive had mine in my car for 3 months now with no problems. Shouldnt really do anything else other than change the exhaust note.

Alex, i may completely wrong, but doesnt it help with back pressure at low rpms to help your turbos spool faster

This piece is so far removed from the turbos that I cant imagine it has .01% with helping the turbos spool. Its after the mufflers, resonators, both cats. The ONLY thing it might do is help the cats warm up faster, but again thats pure speculation.

Ball bearing. However I'm actually using airsoft bb's. The diameter seems to work better.
