2011 LCI 335i bluetooth help
I have searched everywhere, and can't find the information. I just bought a 2011 335i M Sport with iDrive, and Nav yesterday. I'm trying to figure out how to play music from my iPhone through the car. I tried using the aux jack, and a cord but it sounded like trash. I bought 3 different cables, and they all sounded the same. I tried plugging my apple cable into the USB port, but when I do it says "Reading..." but then goes to "Not supported" on the nav screen, and the phone doesn't work.
How can I get this to work?

your car manufactured 26.05.2010 and do not have combox and smartphone integration option
you need to use special bmw iphone Y-cable if you have iphone 4 or ipod for iphone 5 and 6 you need additional apple lightning adapter check this thread for all options http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=750712

Stop torturing yourself and get a USB stick. Copy your music to the stick and plug it into the USB port under your arm rest. Problem solved.

The later yrs bmw have the option but 2011 doesnt... I had a loaner 2015 and I was able to connect my Playlist off my note 3 but in my 2011 335is I wasn't able to. One of the workers stated if I wanted that feature. ..it is 2k unit...

I think it's bullshit that any car made after the year 2006 doesn't have a damn feature that is readily available on a Hyundai Accent. BMW were dicks for this shit.
