The car i lusted over for years...

When i was 18-21 and into my Fords.

an ex Carlos Sainz Escort WRC Cosworth... Over 700bhp. Still have the magazine feature in Performace Ford from 2003. What an Awesome spec this car was.

He wrecked in badly during a photo shoot once, rolled over several times, since been rebuilt and sold on.
4WD drifts a beauty

especially for Carlos:

The old works Escort Cosworth was something else, the crack of the exhaust had to be experienced to be believed.

... and probably the greatest natural rally driver of recent times

... and a bit of M3 action

When you see driving like that it makes you feel so inadequate

Absolutely amazing stuff.

Now as Gene Hunt would say...... "Let's fire up the Quattro!!"

Still remember when we went to see the Safari rally in Kenya, and one of the rally stages had been changed at the last minute. The only car I got to see was Carlos Sainz and the REPSOL!

Shall never forget One of the best rally stages IMO.
