here they are. these are an experiment and I have just used a black aerosol, initially I was worried as to how would stand up to usage but the door trims have been on for 6 weeks and they are still perfect so I continued to go ahead and paint the dash and centre consul, its very difficult to capture a good shot also the light was fading at the time.

I really like both.
I had piano black in my 330D, but wrapped it after I stupidly put a massive scratch across it when bringing some stuff back from B&Q. The carbon leather material I have in the M3 which you saw also looks really nice. Decisions, decisions!!

someone on here as the alcantara type material on their interior, maybe its Sumil?
that looks good. otherwise, you can get a dark aluminium finish in a wrap, that looks better than the normal silver brushed ally finish. Infact it might even be called black aluminium - I bought it off ebay. I bought some to test on mine with the intention of doing the whole lot, but then I sold the car. |
