So, I'm about to install my canbus wiring, but I need to update my PROcede with the latest maps and firmware first. Is this the latest and the greatest that I should be uploading (other than the newest lagfix 2)?

Thanks

Excellent, I got the latest firmware and nonDoomsday map installed, along with the canbus wiring. I've confirmed that my canbus wiring was installed properly, as I can see the CAN data values in the UI. I'm pleased that the installation wasn't very tricky. I can notice a difference in power and smoothness at WOT, which is all I wanted. Now I'm just waiting on the lagfix 2 map and I should be good to go. Then it's DCI, exhaust, and FMIC sometime in the near future. Stage 3 map, here I come!

Now that I'm starting to think about it more, I'm going to have issues with powering the transmitter (because it's not actually hooked up to a device like a printer, for example). I'm hoping to be able to work around that issue, though. I really want wireless PROcede. I will keep you all updated.

As I stated a few times in other treads. Im running it Wireless (Bluetooth) and it works very well since over two years.

Awesome, I'll do a quick search then. Thanks.

Edit: So, until I implement the wireless solution, what's the easiest way to run the cable into the cabin? Are you all just leaving the ECU case off temporarily and running the cable through the window?

no you can easily run it through the firewall into the glove box. there is a DIY in the DIY section. Takes 5 minutes

ok awesome. so should i just log those three channels and thats all the info i need? do i have to compare it against the actual PROcede datalogs? if someone were to make a guide to doing this with a BT cable that would be awesome for REVI users.

By the way, I'm so extremely happy with this PROcede. Shiv, you're the man. Thanks for providing such a quality product and continuing to develop and support it after it's been released. I'm definitely looking forward to future enhancements, and I'm sure that you won't disappoint. IMO, this PROcede is the only way to go if you own a 335. Bravo!!

You really only need ignition angle cylinder 1. This replaces "CAN DME and CAN Actual" in the tuning guide. There are other values you can log as well for more information, but this is the only one you need to follow along with Shiv's directions. I monitored peak boost with my boost gauge, did not log anything with the PROcede software.

While you are data logging, you might as well use the file that scalbert created with the "standard" logging values and also check your FATS time to see the change in performance.

np. I'd turn it up as fast as your laptop will allow - you'll see gaps in the data if it's too fast for your laptop when you look at the logs. I do all my logging at max sampling speed on a 2 1/2 yr old thinkpad x60.

another stupid question. can you make the adjustments to user torque and ign cor. in the procede user sw WHILE THE CAR IS RUNNING/DRIVING? obv i would be having my passenger do this as i drive or vice versa so i am not endangering others.

Yes, the User Adjustable values can be changes while running. But I would pull over to do so.

+1

The only thing you can't do while running is firmware/map uploads. Otherwise you'll see some pretty lights
