Active Autowerke exhaust rasp

The 335i I just picked up had an AA exhaust on it. I notice that it has a bit of a rasp (best description) when accelerating through the 2-3k rpm range. I don't notice anything when decelerating. The best description that I can think of is a raspy sounds. Above and below that range the exhaust sounds good. Anyone have a similar experience or can recommend something to check? Thanks!

Just the way it is, it annoys me a little bit as well
