I would of got the warranty. I have 328i which I'm think of changing to the 335i. And I'm so happy I have the warranty on the 328i. Had the starter go out which would of been like $1000 by the time they got done with me. Water pump went out that was $1500. Which I didn't need to pay. Right there is my extend warranty that I paid for. You also have a turbos that can wear out. I would look into it. It's worth every penny if something goes wrong. You don't have to worry about anything with the car. It gives you a good piece of mind. Just my 2 cents.

This looks like a good deal. What are the prices for CPO? If you got the CPO I'm sure the dealership could budge on the CPO deal.

I think if your car is a CPO, then in order to keep it CPO you have to upgrade your tires with RFTs. I'm not sure if they are too keen on mods being installed when taking in your CPO car to be worked on either.

RFTs aren't too fond of around here and most prefer standard summers over the RFT summers. RFTs don't last as long and are expensive to replace. I think 30k miles is the max. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I'd say to save the extra $2k and use that to fix on your own. Get a BMW CCA membership and get discounts and do your own maintenance. We won't let you down. There are plenty of DIYs on the forum in which you could get help.

Yeah - I felt the same way - I preferred it not CPO'ed - just another mark up granted the peace of mind factor.

As long as the high failure rate items are warrantied by BMWNA like the HPFP and injectors - I am okay doing the maintenance myself.

I will look into the BMW CCA membership - never knew about it. Thanks!
