Chance favors the prepared...

What happens if you get a flat, ride on it, and you get another flat, or if you get all 4 flat, or if you get a flat and then put on a spare and it goes flat....

Yes, but didn't you concede soon thereafter that you had misjudged the market and made a mistake?

It's fine for you to share this amazing price as a historical anecdote, but until you have another set for sale your previous decision should have no influence on the current market.

Full disclosure: I say this as a soon-to-be seller with an interest in fetching a fair price for my 162s and tires.

I was happy to help out another E90 driver.....$1,425 was a lot.........besides....my wife didn't want the rims taking up space in the garage....it was a win win situation!

I understand, and your generosity is comendable. I just don't want to see people get the wrong idea, get their hopes up expecting such a great price that may not be available.

Ah, yes, the wife. You understand my need to sell mine too.

My, uh, fiance (until April) has the exact same concern about the wheels sitting around. Actually, the wheels will have to live in the condo itself, as we can't store possessions in our parking spaces in the garage. (Perhaps that's material fit for the "cribs" thread.) Once the wheels have overstayed their welcome, she'll probably throw me out with them.

So what would a fair price for a 162 tire/wheel combo be? I've been looking for a set.
