Boost pipe seals

Hi All,

Just a quick question, I'm looking to replace the rubber seals (o rings) on the boost pipes intercooler side and intake manifold, as I can see a slight weep of residue. Would any one happen to know their sizes? Are all three the same or different? Any one any experience with using aftermarket seals or is it best to stick with the genuine ones.

If anyone could point me in the right direction would massively be appreciated thankyou.

Best bet is to go genuine. I've changed mine a couple of times by looking up the part numbers on realoem and then ordering from CotswoldsBMW in the classified section.

You'll need to change the car below to your model -

Does just replacing the seals work or is the pipe connection that wears?

On mine it was just the seals. The pipes were as good as new after a cleanup. I did have to change my orange intercooler pipe once however as the extra boost my car is making split the connectors on mine.

Had mine welded on my 335d at gkr. Been over a year now no leaks at all. Welding the ends is your best bet
