When you upgrade to the cp-e FMIC, the oil cooler sits as pictured earlier and you retain your stock system as well. Innovative system, to say the least! Those hoses are how the oil is routed to the cooling unit.

cp-e is good stuff.

I'd buy this over the HPF hands down. Whats the price?

I really hope there are bushings or some other insulation between the two. A hot oil cooler mounted directly to an IC is a recipe for heatsoak...

The production version looks a bit different. Heat will be the last thing you'll have to worry about with this unit.

It's under $1000 for both units. More pricing to come.

The HPF and AMS have better end tank designs but the oil cooler is interesting.

I hope the oil cooler isn't in direct contact with the FMIC....

Looks good!

I've been waiting on Jake to send me the pricing info. Knowing what I know about his job though, I'll wait.

I talked to CP-E awhile back bc I was looking to buy their exhaust. When I asked about their FMIC, they said it was going to include an oil cooler. Hopefully, they will give the option to buy just the FMIC, since I'm fine running the stock OC.

Hopefully I'll be able to negotiate a deal for the IC and exhaust

This would be a good deal for people who wants an IC and doesn't have an oil cooler.

I was under the impression that there were still oil temp problems with the stock oil cooler when pushed extremely hard. I'm assuming this could be run in series with the stock unit to cure that issue?
