Cobb-P3OFF (boost leak) DVs?
New to Cobb here.. I run map1+aggressive and got P3OFF (boost leak) code and check engine light, I clear the code and did it again just to be sure and same thing happend. Then I switched to map+1sport and everything was fine no boost leak anymore. Im guessing my DVs cant support that boost but looking for confirmation. My car is with FMIC and DCI. I attached couple of logs with each map (still learning to read cobb logs) Any opinions? Thanks for looking.

Check your OEM DVs & CP for cracks and/or leaks. Also check your FMIC connections, sometimes they are tightened enough after the install and an aggressive pull can trigger the boost leak code.

Looks isn't the best way to go about this -- Dry to get a spray bottle & spray some water on the various connections, give it some revs & see if any bubbles come up.

Jeff, do you reccomend the tial bov or forge DV's for it's function to hold boost? I don't mind the sound but want the most reliable dv/bov.

As long as you get the correct springs the Forge DVs are excellent, you rarely see issues with 'em. TBH both of those options are very high quality assuming installation is done correctly.

In my opinion Tial is the best BOV in terms of integrity and quality. It does not mean the other options are poor quality but historically a lot of high end turbo builds revolve around Tial products, generally speaking of course. Quote:

If you're going to get the Forge Dvs, don't get them from EAS.
I just got mine and they don't come with the yellow springs, pretty frustrating because the green ones that are suppose to be rated to 15psi cause me to have a 30ff code. |

Thats why I bought AWE so I dont have to deal with changing springs and my first impressions are really good. No more 3OFF code for now after 7 3d gear pulls on 1+agressive.
