E90 LCI Projector Headlights - LCI Style LED Turn Signals (Possibility of installing)
Looking through the web for E90 LCI halogen headlights replacement, I haven't found anything interesting ... except OEM Xenons and DEPO's.
I like those below DEPO Projectors, but according to the vendor they doesn't match to the LCI Car Version. My questions are: What really doesn't fit? - Mounting ? - Socket connections? If these headlights (DEPO) fit to the pre-LCI, and OEM LCI halogens fit straight to the pre-LCI why DEPO's doesn't fit to LCI? DEPO Projectors --> pre-LCI (possible to assemble) OEM LCI Halogens --> pre-LCI (possible to assemble) DEPO Projectors --> LCI (Why not?) OEM LCI Halogens --> LCI (Factory assembly) What do you think ? http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/p71/...duct_info.html

So to be 100% sure ... I understand that the whole system is plug & play? Am I right ? What about the possible lighting errors from board computer? LCI halogen lamps have two H7 bulbs (55W each), one H10W (10W) for AE and one PY24W (24W) for blinkers. What type of bulbs and LEDs and what power are used for AE and blinkers ? Do you have pictures of Projector lights installed in the LCI?

I've heard some people say the Depo projectors will fit in an LCI and some say that they won't. I haven't heard any details though on either why or why not. I'd love to hear a definite answer on this. Last edited by Comstock; 04-30-2011 at 09:34 PM.. |

If you have an LCI with halogens and are trying to go the projector/xenon route then the DEPO headlamps have a much more appealing price tag. $700 or so with bulbs and LED AEs compared to the $2k+ oem retrofit. As the OP said it's just a matter of figuring out if the DEPOs will work in the e90 LCI. The new version looks pretty damn good as people have been discussing over here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=519968&page=2
