P2F02 radiator blind (glf) anyone? can't find any info

hello guys

my buddy keeps getting this code on his car and its running with a little hiccups here and there...
he said a few weeks ago his car overheated because a rubber grommet piece got stuck in his radiator fan and the fan wasn't kicking in.
when he realized what it was he let the car cool off and removed the piece of rubber.... things were back to normal...

when i plug my laptop to read jb4 codes i get the following

2FD2 No Description Found
C7E2 No Description Found
C2B2 No Description Found

using cobb ap i get this code

P2F02 radiator blind (glf)

but i can't find any info on it...

From my jb4 I get a 2fod code which is also a radiator blind. Not sure why codes are different as I don't know too much about the cobb tune.

The radiator blind is only on European cars. It is actually flaps in the kidneys that close to block air to the radiator.

I've been told and also read several different posts where this has been called a ghost code. Means nothing and hurts nothing.

Now Heres A Bit Of My Frustration FROM this as well, I've also read it could be a problem with the water pump.

I've got an appt. with my dealer to have my DME updated which should get rid of the code.

Not much help but long story short is that the majority of people call it a ghost code.and not to worry about it.
