diesel leak
dudes, i have a diesel puddle in front of the rear drivers side wheel, i have had all of the tray off underneath and cant find anything. it doesnt do it all the time, so i am starting to think i may have a blocked vent pipe or something where i probably over fill the car maybe? anyone seen similar or know where else to check?? its not leaking very much at all, but its bugging me and fcukin up my driveway... thanks guys!

Does it only happen after you fill up? Mine did the same, the dealer first replaced the filler pipe then the filler pipe and tank together - all under warranty luckily

Had this on my 330d.
Cracked pipe between filler cap and tank. Days work at a dealer to drop rear subframe, take the tank out, and replace pipe. Cheeky dealer tried to charge me for MY tank of diesel I lost when they refilled I fear this will be a costly job for you. Alternatively, dont fill past half way and p/x at a BMW dealer for your next car. |
