The more 335d on the strip the better for me. Just proving how good they are.. The more out there doing there thang the more people will stand up and take note.
Carl, most people including acerboo have no inclination to remap their car. acerboo is not a nutter or total loon like you. He loves the 335d for what it is - a superb and powerful engine with great fuel economy. He does not need more power, he does not want to go to the Pod, he does not want to race you, he does not want to be the fasted D in the world!!

It was actaully a breath of fresh air to meet someone who appreciates the big D in stock form and was very content in its performance.

Looks great, if I knew you were at Goodwood, that is on my doorstep, I would have popped in to say hello, and parked my car out of sight...........

The M3 with the ACS bits looks the muts nuts, I loved those wheels, nearly had them on mine - You need a 2nd mortgage for them!

Didn't realise Oli, you would have been more than welcome We had a nice stop there, some laughs and giggles in the carpark before heading back... Come along to the next one. Doesn't matter what car you have, more the merrier!

I think the ACS wheels are four big ones!!

Carl, sorry to say this but you were not part of the conversation. I asked acerboo if he had any plans to remap his car and he said no and then explained how much he enjoys his car in stock form.

I was making the point to you that not everyone feels the need to remap their car and challenge the DXB... These were my words to you not acerboo's!

Short video clip of Tanya showing Serjames how the 335i should really be driven

Serjames was very nervous having seen her previous antics hence asking her to behave as she drove past. Me, Hotcoupe and E92Fan were loving it!

Video is purposely distorted to protect plates...

Good to meet you all today. Thanks for making me welcome. Shame I couldn't stick around for dinner, Goodwood or the sideaways antics. Although I did have a few 'moments' of my own on my way back to the inlaws.

Look forward to catching up with you all again soon.

Looks like you had lots of fun girls and boys

Not quite the same fun as I had .... wet roads and old MGs = one way and that is sideways Ended up "fookwahing" my wheel after pushing a bit too far spining and hitting the kerb with my o/s/r wheel, luckily I have a full size perfect spare so a quick change of wheel and I was off again! Was a bit embarrassing though

At least you know how to change a spare. That was the first thing my father taught me when I was learning to drive. Hell, putting gas in the tank was somewhere along lesson ten or eleven.

LOL! My mum was a bit pedantic like "if you don't know this I'm not letting you drive a car" but that is good People should know things like this.

Laugh about it now but I obviously feared the worse when it happend, that spot was really bad some diesel or something spilt when I when back that way the cops where there, a lot more than me had done the same

A great day out despite the weather and it was good to catch up with some old (not numerically) faces and new ones.

Thanks to Paul for arranging the meet, and to Tony for the rather interesting (OBC showed 20.9 mpg! ) run to the pub and the pub recommendation, the food was superb.

Highlight was James broadside overtake, I rarely see a BMW doing a drifting manouevre whilst halfway past a car, it was quite graceful!

Oh and my rotational tyre is on the right way round now!, Quick fit - they'd struggle to have a Quick *hit!

Was to good to see you Ian. Glad you got the tyre sorted (can't believe they screwed up first time round....) The run to the pub was good fun, although I think Jimbob would rather wish he was in a 4x4 on some of those roads Do we know if Tanya drove him back, or was James driving?? I have images of her sliding his car round corners, completely sideways, and him having a coronary trying to get her to slow down..

she drove me back... was a little scary to be honest.

I set the car on the slow map and she still peeled away sideways from every stop....

Had the car at 45degrees out of the goodwood entrance before I could coach her that you don't have to use "full Pedal to get the car to pull away..."
;-)

A small selection - I have never seen so much car in one place (apart from Goodwood and the like)...
