Scheid - thanks for your effort on this and I'm looking forward to seeing it once it's available. I'll gladly give BMW more $$$ for a nice short shifter, flash, cams, exhaust, diff etc. etc. and all under their warranty. That leaves only aftermarket wheels and tires (RFT's )

Sounds like BMW will be doing what Porshe has done for years with there T Equipment line. This does not come as a surprise to me.
Problem is that Porsche in house performance products are extremely expensive over the aftermarket. I would not be surprised if the case is the same with BMW. I dont think BMW cares about selling performance products that could put the 335i close to M3 performance. Honestly, the M3 buyers will always be there. I have always said that the price premium some of us are going to pay for the M is going to deter some previous M buyers from purchase. The 335i especially one with Msport gear like a rear diffy is going to catch those disenchanted M buyers. I am sure there will be performance products for the M3 as well. Jason

I think that a better "personalization" option would be to buy a "close to M" car then mix and match at will. HOWEVER, DO NOT PUT AN ///M BADGE ON IT!!!!!!!Whatever gets into you! I would be willing to pay for 20 horses...IMO, the V8 M3 may not be an every day car, particularly when you constantly are on grid locked roads! Our 335s may be "smoother" for this type of driving...the ///M badges are tempting though, I must admit!
