WTB - rear bumper, trunk, tail lights, qtr panel, some other misc. things.
My friend got rear ended accident. Got around some body shops but they all say there is no OEM spec or aftermarket parts they can get a hold of so here I go try for him. Here's the damage picture. Need these parts ASAP. If no luck, he might have to order some bodykit with CF trunk or something since it priced about the same with those from the stealership. Any help would be appreciated. what kinda place is this? they cant get a hold of the OEM parts. take it to somewhere else to get it fixed if ur going thru insurance. Unless ur friend is trying to save money and cut a check from the insurance company.

usually most dealerships have a specific auto body shop under contract, same with insurance companies. have you asked either of two for correspondents????? you shouldn't be having issues getting oem parts...

It's not that he's having trouble getting OEM parts, but rather he wants to save some money on parts. If he can't get a hold of cheap OEM parts, he's open for aftermarket parts as well as long as it's reputable and good quality parts.
Rear bumper for example is going to be around $500 from the dealer while he can get it cheaper via here or ebay. And if he wants, he can get nice rear body kit for the same amount of money. I think his insurance paid him like 8 or 9 grand based on their estimate from his insurance-direct bodyshop. I'm only here to help him because 1)he can't speak good english, 2)he doesn't have eBay or paypal account set up as well as ID on this forum. |
