Very unlikely. Transported to the port of exit means it is on the way from the factory to Bremerhaven. It takes 2-4 days for that to happen, and then takes anywhere from 3-10+ days to actually get on a boat once you are at the port. Depending on where your car is going, it can take 15-20 days to get to the East Coast, then a few days to get thru VPC and to the dealer. I'd say you are likely a July delivery.

I'm in Toledo and took delivery 5/29. My e93 came through Charleston and NOT Port Jersey. So when it's time to play the guessing game for which boat you're on, remember, yours has to go to Charleston.

Great pic xray. Got my morning laugh on that one. Leslie

Definitely seems like he's the type to follow proper break-in procedures...
Thanks for the Friday AM laugh. That is a great pic.

It's a small possibility that I make it for a Joon delivery. My baby's on the Fedora with NYC as the port of exit. I ordered on May 15, so I'm not complaining.

xraymd said that Toledo cars were brought in thru Charleston, SC, but I'm not sure Cleveland cars would be - it seems so out of the way to come thru SC, as opposed to NY. To the East Coast, BMW uses two transatlantic shipping lines - Wallenius Wilhelmsen, and K-Line. Check the ship tracking/order tracking threads that are stickyed at the top of this section for some great info on boat schedules, how to tell where your car is, etc. The WW site is terrific, allows you to get a ton of info, while K-Line has less info.

Back in my fanatical tracking days (OK, about 3 weeks ago), I found a site describing the SC facility that said it was the VPC for the entire Midwest. NYC seems closer to me too, but I guess that's how they have things set up.

DUDE, get off the computer, go out and drive your M3!
If I lived in Southern California, there is no way I wouldn't be out carving up canyon roads, cruising along the beach, whatever, in that car... like every minute of the first week of ownership! Did you sleep in it last night? If no, why the heck not?!
