Az emissions
Secrets for az emissions testing??
So for all you az guys running mods, what do we have to do to pass emissions. I am thinking about getting a Cobb AP, and Catless dps. Can we run thru emissions with a map installed, or do you have to run the stock map, or uninstall the tuner completely? Also, once I go Catless downpipes, do I need the bms dp fix to pass? I am pretty sure they just plug into the obd port and don't do a sniffer test, so I'm just trying to figure out what I would have to do before I get the mods installed. Thanks for the help!

Greg;
1: No one ever bypasses emissions; that would be illegal. Some of us only use our cars off the road though, and don't want to be bothered by any codes resulting from having non-oem downpipes. Any sort of electronic device that alters the rear o2 sensor reading will stop your car from showing a code. B.M.S. used to sell a "downpipe fix" and if you look close, there are other options out there (including a DIY shown on other sites) that will work. Worst case you could probably borrow/rent one to see if it'll work for you in your application. 2: AZ allows 1 item to be "not-ready". There is literature about what is acceptable on the AZ emissions web site. 3: It's best to go to the stock map for emissions purposes, but I know someone who passed on an E50 map.

Hey guys, I need a tire shop recommendation. I have a set of wheels that I need tires put on. Not crazy stretch but Discount and Wheel Specialists in Tempe both said they won't do it. Trying to put a 245/30/20 on a 9" wheel and a 275/30/20 on an 11" wheel. If anyone out there can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

WSI wouldn't do it? Was it a new guy working? They have one of the high end machines in the valley it's the center mount one. Nothing clamps or touches wheels. Only place I go!

No, sounded like an older guy on the phone. I think I found a Discount that will do it. Hope they don't scratch the wheels...

Wheels
Anyone have 19 or 20" wheels for sale?
9"f and 10"r wide offsets around 25 or more aggressive.

Hey Everyone. New 2011 335i sedan owner here. I've owned a couple other BMW in the past. Love them.
One question I have for the AZ guys specifically. Is there ANYONE locally who does Orion V4 angel eye installs? Any shops? Any forums members? I'm willing to pay. I just love the look. I see guys around town with them. But I just can't find who does them locally. Thanks for the help! blake |

Waddup AZ :P. Murph, my shits taking forever to get here!!! FMIC is like a week or two out. DP gets here tomorrow!!!! Woohooo!!!
Edit 6/20/2014: DP is here! Looks great!. I called VividRacing cause they were getting the FMIC and it's here! I just went to go pick it up!!! Im talking to them about the install then im going to talk to goodspeed and see whose rates are cheaper. Vivid is really close to me compared to Goodspeed. I ordered it through them but it was a COBB FMIC. They are going to give me a quote on installing it and the DP. I just installed my DCI's and even on Stg 0 stock I now know the spool sound everyone is talking about. Its awesome! Put my new plugs in and car is idling smooth and acceleration is smooth. Lot less jerky at low rpms think parking lot cruising. Can't wait for Stg 2 bro!!! Thinking of flashing Stg 1 just to see what it's like now that I have fresh plugs! We'll see!
