Alignment now, or wait for wheels?

Good day!

I just lowered my xi with the Eibach Pro Kit on Sunday, and I figure I need to get an alignment now. My question is: I'm also planning on having my summer 19s installed within a week or so; should I get the alignment done with the stock 16s still on the car, or wait until I mount the 19s to get it done? Does it even matter? I assume that the bigger wheels will affect it somewhat, but I figured it was worth asking.

Thanks!

I'd get it done with the stock wheels, so there's less chance of getting your new rims scratched when they attach alignment equipment on the rims. Genuine BMW rims have 5 holes for alignment attachment, but I don't think that independant shops would make use of that.

Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking. And I was just wondering what those extra holes were on my stock rims when I was putting them back on after the spring install. Good to know.

Remember, you do give the new springs some time to settle in. This process typically takes about 100-200 miles of driving before they're completely settled in. I would recommend that you get the alignment as soon as you reach those miles!

Good advice! I've been driving on them for about a week now, and put a little over 100 miles on them so far. Finally, my laziness has proven useful!
