Flash n55 from 98G1B to 98G0B for payment

I have a 2012 e92 335i xdrive and need a back end flash. Please don't feel like this is a waste of your time because we can negotiate a price that works for both of us. PM plz.

I don't know if they will do remote but BrenTuning is downgrading mine next week. Went to the dealer for warranty work done and the upgraded my DME so my cobb ap doesn't work anymore.

I live in houston ad had it done by ABR. Any indy shop can do it as long as there IMSA/INPA (forget which one it is) has not been upgraded. ABR has like 4 That they have in various states of update for this reason.

Alex @ ABR did the backwards flash on my car 3 months ago. Worked like a charm.

For tuning reasons. People with Cobb access ports can not use it after the dealer updates their vehicles.

I also highly recommend Alex@alpinemss.com, I haven't had him downgrade my car, but he did remote coding for me.

Honestly I already knew but I asked the question for the benefit of others who may not have been aware but I do thank you for the immediate response.

Here's a convo I had about this and the PPK issue due to BMW upgrading the ROM:

Sir,
Can you please provide me with the cost for the flash and all the other particulars?

Thanks in advance.
Cost is $(you have to ask him), and we can mail a loaner cable for $(you have to ask him) plus $(you have to ask him) shipping. All you need is a Windows OS and stable internet connection at your car.

Joe
Ok, I will be ready to try this next week when I'm off from work.
Thanks.
What is your email and we'll get a paypal invoice sent to you so we can get it scheduled. Also let me know if we will need to mail a loaner cable.

Joe
Joe; I haven't received an email from you as of yet but just in case here's my email address:

Thanks,
Brian
Invoice should be sent shortly. I think we were waiting on a response on the loaner cable. But, we're sending an invoice that includes the loaner cable and the deposit will be refunded upon return (if you prefer not to keep it). As another side note and question, you'll need an external power supply hooked up to the car during the flash (anything will do, just to keep battery from going dead). Also, are you running a Cobb, just so I know which ROM version to send to you.

Joe
Ok thanks Joe and to answer your question; I'm running a Cobb. Will there be some issues with the Cobb and this flash??
Currently Cobb only supports the 98G0B ROM version, and the latest PPK is up to 98G1B. AFAIK, they are working on supporting the newest ROM. So we can either install the latest "supported" version, or we can install the newest version but you'll have to wait on Cobb to release an update (don't know how long that will take).
