Can BMW do a search for me?
I want to know if there is a way to search available cars like the dealers do,without calling each individual dealer. Thanks

I tried doing this a month ago when the wife was looking for an 335xi with the options and color she had to have. It wasn't pleasant, most dealers I noticed don't tell you crap on their website. You always have to call, and they claim they will find you one somewhere, but a lot of dealers won't do trades. Never actually call BMW to see what they could do, they should know what cars they sent out to the dealers, but as far as knowing whats still on the lot, I doubt it.

To my knowledge no. The dealers have their own computer access to everyone else's inventory.

Yes,and like mentioned, other dealers are not always willing to give them up.My dealer found exactly what I want, but he sure as hell wont tell me where it's at,and he can't get it.I was wondering if BMW USA can run the same search for me.Otherwise I will search each dealer myself. Thanks

My dealer did found a car for me. He traded for it. My CA told me it was coming from Up state NY....I did a search and actually found it In a south Jersey dealership. They lied probably so I would not go to the source. I totally busted my CA. It was funny. But anyway I actually found it by doing a search on Cars.com If you know the msrp and the color you can usually find it on Cars.com....Most if not all dealers list there inventory on Cars.com and you can do a search by a certin distance. Takes so time...but usually in an hour I can find any car~
But with the msrp and color you can find it on Cars.com If it is a stick shift car then its really easy because there is not that many out there.
