E92 335xi on KW v3, will need front fender mods for 18x9et15 w 225?

Hi!

I;ve searched extensively, and noted all the sizes people have managed to fit in the aggressive wheel threads, some with fender mods, some without, but I haven't seen anything that exactly matches my situation and would appreciate if someone could give me a simple idea how much pain I'm in for trying to fit these...my reading gives me the idea that I am going to be really really close on the outer edge to whats possible to fit on the car.

They are TE37 replicas, and the sizes I'd like to fit are:

Front: 18x9 et15 OR 18x9.5 et22 (same outer edge anyway) with 225 tire
Rear: 18x9.5 et22 with 255 tire

Tires will be Michelin PSS if that helps, and my ride height is as shown below on KW V3 coilies. I was actually considering raising a it a touch. I'm not averse to a LITTLE camber, but I don't want a lot. I know front fenders cannot be rolled (can ANYTHING be done?), I don't mind modding rear fenders, though I doubt it will be necessary, I'm only really worried about the front fitment. Thanks in advance for any pointers.

You can't do anything to your front fender, because they are plastic. Basically only thing you might need at front is to add slightly negative camber. Which wont happen without camber plates or drilling out the alignment pin, but i think you are fine with 9.5 et22 and 225/40/18 at front, so it shouldn't need any work. I didn't do anything my front fenders and had -1 camber which came for just lowering the car.

Here is one e92 with 19x9.5 et22 front and rear http://illmotion.com/im-highlight-re...bmw-e92-328xi/

For rear you need fender roll and added camber also, but that's adjustable from factory. Only thing is that the tyre stretch between front and rear wont look the same and possibly front will look more aggressive than rear.

If they offer 18x10.5 et22-30 or something similar to rear i would go with that. I know Varrstoen does have that size. It would be more even look compared to front. It most likely need same amount of work anyway to fit. Fender roll and slightly added camber, but not as much i have. Here is few examples. These have 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 tyre combo. Since you are planning to use Michelin Pss those probably will look pretty close to same as these, because PSS is fat tyre compared to other brands with same size.

Thanks for the info. Do you think the 225/255 tires combo would look more even with 8.5+15 up front and 9.5+22 rear? I also guess I might be able to dispense with the camber requirement. I hope 8.5+15 is still a bit concave.

Are you sure 9.5+22 with 255s in the back will need a roll? The wheels you see on the car now are Schnitzer type viii racing replicas in 19". I don't know what rear offset is, but it's already rocking a 275 pirelli tire and stock alignment...

Yes the 8.5/9.5 with 225/255 would look more even, but i wouldn't do that, because fitting the front will be harder since it has less stretch and it's only 6mm less aggressive than the 9.5 et22. Also pretty sure it wont be concave any more, so it wouldnt be what you want. Do the 18x9.5 et22 square setup with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. I think the front will be just plug and play.

Here is closest example i can find 18x9.5 et22 with 235/40/18 and 18x10 et25 with 265/35/18, so it has similar difference between the tyre stretch and the 10 et25 will be 3mm more out than 9.5 et22 rear. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=865871

Also i'm sure you need fender roll to rear. This one has 18x9.5 et23 with 255/35/18 PSS rolled rear fenders, factory alignment and still slightly rubs at full compression. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=581614

Looking at examples of 9.5+22 in front, I've decided it isn't for me. If you are not slammed, its too much poke and since the rear cannot poke as much and still be driveable, I won't be going that route (I have OCD that I need to be able to look down the side of the car and not have the impression that either front or back pokes more than the other). I guess the difference is I need this to be a daily driver on potholed crappy greek roads.

I've actually located locally, a set of 19" BBS CH-R in black in their classic fitment, 19x8.5+32 up front and 19x9.5+35 in the back. I'm thinking a 15mm spacer on the front and maybe a 5 or none in the back and I'll be quite flush and pretty symmetrical F/R with the same tire combo (225/255)...I welcome your thoughts on this, though I know its a well known easy fitment, thanks v much for the excellent help.

True aggressive front would need aggressive rear and it's kinda hard to do with same width wheels. Otherwise it's uneven look. If you really want to have te37 reps you could do 18x9.5 et30 front and 18x9.5 et22 rear with your 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 PSS. It would work with just rear fender work.

As far as those BBS wheels without any spacers you get this kinda fitment and it should be just plug and play no fender work etc. This has 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 tyres tho. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=12

I think the 15mm front is too much to front. I would only use 5-10mm front and 10mm at rear, but rear will most likely require fender roll with the spacer.

This one is 19x8.5 et35+5mm spacer front and 19x9.5 et33 + 10mm spacer rear 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 tyres. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=710057
